New release, “Two Thoughts”

Two tunes written at two separate moments within a week. “Two Thoughts” that explore space and subtlety.

Press Release: Mars Complex has just released “Two Thoughts,” a collection of two songs that demonstrate his latest evolution into a deep, dark, rhythmic place. These tunes serve to wet the appetite of listeners for a full length album due to be released in January of next year. The first tune, entitled “First”, begins with a deep percussive beat and bass that instantly places you in the environment of the tune, the tune then evolves into a more mature and entirely compelling place, slowly building up to what is an unexpected, but entirely satisfying climax. The second tune, entitled “Second” is set in the same environment of “First” but obsesses about subtle and faint elements in the sound, and the overall texture in the work. These two tunes amounts to a very gratifying taste of what we can expect from Mars Complex in the future.

A while ago I heard Chit Chit Chatter and I completely got the melody stuck in my head. I couldn’t for the life of me remember who it was by until it just came up recently and it dawned me to follow it back and find your site. Just wanted to give respects on the great track work. Would you be interested in some Collab or Remix exchange? Check me out, I’m all about working with other musicians.
